Ah yes... so you would like to know a little bit more about us, would you? Well scroll down to the history section if you're looking to find out how we got started. Well, for starters, Pothead Productions is a video production crew that makes movies out of pure random humour - mostly improv. Pothead Productions was founded July 26, 2004. We would not be around if it was not for Alex's random presence to show us some flash movies on Newgrounds! We started off making a flash movie - Missing Title Volume One - Eat Billy... which has been put on hold for the time being, but will be finished sooner or later. You may be wondering where the name Pothead Productions ever came from... well, I forget how it happened, but I think I suggested it to Matt and it kind of stuck, from there. We were nameless for a while until I realized that we should have a name, and well, it took off from there! We have a total of 7 members, including myself - Kevin, Brad, Matt, Brandon, Alex, Mike and Beth. We evolved from making flash movies to start into making random webcam movies, claymations, movie dubs and now that I have a digital camera, we've been doing more 'mobile' videos! Hmm, we were up to 9 members, including the current members and Chris and Phil, but they have since left the crew. The website has been re-designed once and was originally hosted at www.eatc0z.com/Pothead/. However, since I had not originally purchased the hosting package, we now own www.potheadproductions.com, purchased by us! I guess that's about all.

Well... It all began one warm sunny afternoon on July 26, 2004 during a smashing game of Halo on my green edition Xbox at Brad's house. Stuvok insisted on showing me some flash movies he had seen on www.newgrounds.com. These flash videos included none other than The Demented Cartoon Movie and Arfenhouse!!1... and, well... I guess you could say that's where we got our inspiration. Myself, Kevin said to the others "OMGZ! DO U GUYZ WANNA START A VIDEO CREW AND MAKE STUFF LIKE THIS!?!?!?!?!/1?1!/1.1.!>!1!!1/!??!1111one". Their immediate response was "Uhh... sure!" And then... as soon as I had arrived back at my house, a matter of 4 houses down the street... erm, I think it's 4... but I can never really remember... unless it's 5... 5 is a common number, or it might be six, just because you're fat... well, whatever... he lives close to me. Anyways, when I got home, I executed Macromedia Flash 5 and began work on a fresh flash movie. I immediately became rather frustrated with Flash, considering I had not used it to make anything fancy in at least 2 years. But hey, I got the hang of it and was on my way in no time. We never actually decided on a name for the flash movie, so I decided to call it Missing Title Volume One. Makes perfect sense, wouldn't you agree? I thought so. Hey look, a goat! So, Kevin, Matt and Brad were the three initial members of the unnamed video production crew. Rather funny, because none of them thought that this idea would actually get us anywhere... and now, look where we are!

After weeks of working on the flash movie - Missing Title, we... uhh... yeah, I kind of forgot where I was going with that because I went downstairs to grab a Nestea while I was writing... Erm, oh yeah! I was going to tell you that we started to branch off into other forms of animation. First we experimented with webcam videos and doing random acts of stupidity (Pure Randomness 1-4, What The Hell Did I Do To This Gun, I Think It's Lagging and Bang!), claymation videos - suggested by Brandon (Melty The Meltinator, Blaarg Teh Mnoobg, Unches of Woonis and Horny Bob) and even 3D animation... which we have not fully gotten into yet due to a lack of ideas and spare time. Later on, in the month of October two new members - Brandon and Alex, a.k.a. Stuvok, joined us.

However, before we were joined by our two new members and in the middle of the creation of Missing Title... we realized that we needed a website. This initiated the creation of what you see before you now. I was like "OMGZ WTFLUX IS A WEB...SITE!?!?>!?!!?!?!1111six". Then the answer was revealed to me when a coconut struck me in the head. I suddenly jumped out of my spaceship and yelled "WTF!?" and then the website fell out of the ice cube tray in the freezer, so I put it on my website, http://www.eatc0z.com. The website took me a total of two hours to create, if I am not mistaken. Yes. Two whole hours. And I lay on the floor sleeping for half of it. But how could I have possibly lain on the floor, if there is no floor? Dun dun dun. Well, I now have a digital camera and we've been doing all kinds of crazy movies - a few of our best being Pothead News, Clueless, The Johnson Effect & the Order Pizza series.

We're currently at a headcount of seven members - Kevin, Brad, Matt, Brandon, Alex, Mike and Beth! And as of two days ago (aka. July 15th, 2005) WE NOW OWN OUR OWN DOMAIN!!!!!!!!!seven www.potheadproductions.com Hey! My printer’s out of paper! I must go feed it! My hosting subscription ran out for www.eatc0z.com, so I essentially no longer own the website. What a shame. *tear*
